Let's gossip about Cosmetic Surgery.

I've always been pro plastic surgery... there are loads of procedures I'd have done! I want my lips done and I'd definitely have botox as I get older... but recently, reading magazines, I have started thinking about how stupidly far some celebrities take cosmetic surgery, and most at such a young age. It makes me wonder whether my opinion on wanting plastic surgery in the future, is really a good idea?

Take Sarah Harding. She is 30 years old, which is around the age I would consider plastic surgery. However, when you look at the before photo, she looked so much younger and fresher than she does post surgery. Currently she looks like she has been smacked in the mouth and pinch on the cheeks. Not a good look. It is a shame that she ruined her natural beauty by having needles prodded into her face.

Next, take Heidi Montag. She looked INCREDIBLY different before she had about 100,000 procedures to give her the perfect barbie look. She got what she wanted... sh does look like a barbie, however, it is so obviously fake, and in my opinion it makes her look older. I am not against boob jobs, or lipsocution or any procedures, which make someone feel far more comfortable in their own skin, nevertheless, Heidi has definitely taken it too far.

Chelsee Healey is, in my opinion, one the most prettiest celebs around. She is absolutely stunning. I didn't know until a couple of days ago that she has had a boob job, and fillers in her lips and cheeks. She looks amazing, and I read an interview with Chelsee, where she explained she had her boob job at 18, to boost her confidence. Her reasons for surgery are ones that I completely agree with, and she doesn't look like she has over done the surgery at all. Yes she was young when she had the surgery done, but does she look fake? No. I do prefer her brunette hair though :)

Furthermore, take Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie. Two celebs that I think look far better after the surgery.

I think people have the opinion of me that I want to be Katie Price. I like her, I definitely do not want to be her. I think she is a celeb that has way overdone the plastic surgery. Even she admits she has a duck mouth at the moment. She also had her surgery done very young, and now she is addicted to it. Would I get addicted to it if I had surgery now, at the age of 19? I don't know. Is it a risk I am willing to take? Not really.

All in all, I think plastic surgery will always have mixed opinions. Mine remains. I will always be pro plastic surgery, simply because I feel that if someone wants to change something on their body to make them more comfortable and confident, then they should definitely do it, as nothing is more beautiful than confidence. However, I do worry that people are having plastic surgery so young, as it can be addictive. At the end of the day, it is your body, do as you wish.
